Dream Writing!

Writing definitely has its up and downs. As I mentioned recently, I'm finally on the "up" side and am moving forward with my latest book. It is Book III of the Alban Saga, titled The Vortex. When I'm on a role and things are flowing well, dreaming is something that often takes hold and helps me move a book forward.

My latest dream about this book ended up taking it in a completely new direction, which I'm extremely excited about!

I hope to complete the book in 2023 or early 2024. I think the new direction is going to add a lot to the story!

Dreamed the Ending to THE VORTEX

The Vortex: Book III of the Alban Saga

I'm still working on the The Vortex, which is the final book of the Alban Saga trilogy, but last night I had a breakthrough! I dreamed the ending. I love it when that happens! Now, I just need to write the rest of the book. I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you!

In the meantime, check out the first two books of that series and all of my books on Amazon. Just type Bob Stegner in the search box there, or . . .  just click the Bob's Books link above in my blog.

You can also read the first chapter of The Vortex in the blog entry before this one.

WRITING AGAIN!

My writer's block is gone for now at least. I was having a terrible time with one of the chapters of my latest fantasy/scifi novel, "M", but I had a dream that helped me through the conundrum.

That particular chapter was a hell of a write for many reasons, and I'd like to share the last sentence with you. It may seem that it gives too much away, but it doesn't.

"Then...the seconds and minutes passed...until the stillness overcame the immense savagery and iniquity of that one moment, leaving behind only dust and ashes, with no one to see it or feel it or remember."
