Poetry Along A Hiking Trail In Washington State

 

Lyre Conservation Area Hike Near Joyce, WA

I was recently hiking this trail with my daughter and son-in-law. It's located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. I noticed some signs along the way with poetry on them. It was a wonderful addition to the hike!

Below, I've included a picture of two of them. One has a poem from Edna St Vincent Millay and the other comes from one of my favorite poets, Mary Oliver!
